Located halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles, nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Lucia coastal mountain range along scenic HWY 1 is the beautiful coastal town of Morro Bay, accentuated by the iconic landmark of Morro Rock. Morro Bay's physical and cultural environment is as close to ideal as you're likely to find, anywhere. Never too warm, and never too cold, it has one of only five Mediterranean climate zones in the world. It is home to several pristine state parks & beaches, bird and wildlife estuaries and plenty of places for enjoying outdoor and recreational activities such as beach combing, surfing, kayaking, hiking, biking, golfing and more.
Morro Rock, which is an ancient volcanic mound at the end of Morro Rock Beach and the last in a chain of long-extinct volcanoes. Situated within Morro Bay State Park, the rock spans 50 acres at its base and towers 576 feet above the entrance to Morro Bay and is surrounded by tranquil lagoons, a bird-rich salt water marsh, and a network of hiking trails.

We are am intimate, full service RV Park with 44 available sites. The park is conveniently located within a few minutes walk to the beach, walking distance to Morro Rock, as well as a short drive to downtown Morro Bay's shopping, restaurants and the famous Embarcadero along the waterfront. Morro Bay is bicycle friendly with bike paths all around to ride and see the sights. Morro Rock can be viewed from many of our RV Sites
We are a short 14 mile drive into San Luis Obispo, a 32 mile drive to Paso Robles Wine Country & Hearst Castle. We are any where from 6 miles to 25 miles drive to neighboring beach cities such as Cayucos, Cambria, Avila Beach & Pismo Beach, making Morro Strand RV Park in Morro Bay the perfect vacation spot on California's central coast .
